Dr. Andreas Wieczorek

Who i am...

My professional background allows me unique access to the field of negotiation. After years of working as a lawyer, I entered the judiciary. These activities go hand in hand with the participation and organisation of more than 4000 negotiations to date. At the same time, I have studied a wide range of theoretical principles that can be applied to the field of negotiation. These include social-psychological studies, negotiation theory approaches from strategy and rhetoric, as well as applications from the field of applied psychology of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).

I studied law at the Philipps University in Marburg, where I then worked as a research assistant, first at the Institute for Cooperatives, then at the Institute for Legal History and Civil Law, where I obtained my PhD. I then studied at the London School of Economics (LSE) in London, graduating with an LL.M. I then completed my legal traineeship in Frankfurt am Main, graduating with a second state examination in law. This was followed by years of work in international law firms, before taking up the position of a judge at the Regional Court in 2003, which has continued to this day.
